Geez, did Katic really leave Castle? That’s a tough one. I mean, it’s been a roller coaster ride for fans of the show ever since news broke that she was out. It’s been an emotional journey for sure - from shock to disbelief to sadness and now acceptance. But hey, life goes on and we can only hope that the show will still be as good without her!

Back in ‘16, Katic had no clue why she was getting the boot. Even two years later, she still hadn’t figured it out. “I’m still in the dark,” she said to EW. It was a real bummer; it felt like a punch to the gut.
Katic definitely left Castle; it was a shock to everyone. She’s moved on, and we all wish her the best. It’s been a wild ride, but it’s time to say goodbye. Oh well!
