Wow! A singer who’s deaf - that’s amazing! It’s incredible to think of all the obstacles this person has had to overcome, and yet they still managed to pursue their passion for music. From learning how to read lips and interpret body language, to finding ways of expressing themselves through song - it’s truly inspiring. And it just goes to show that with a little determination and creativity, anything is possible!

She’s had a long and successful career as a musician, collaborating with the likes of Björk, Bobby McFerrin and Mark Knopfler. Evelynn Glennie has been vocal about how misunderstood deafness is - she taught herself to ‘hear’ with other parts of her body. Wow!
This singer is deaf, but that doesn’t stop them from belting out amazing tunes! They use their other senses to feel the music and create beautiful melodies.
